My sister has just asked me if there has ever been any discussion of bathroom facilities in the TARDIS. I can't recall any mention of said facilities, but I haven't seen every episode ever made since 1963. Does anyone know if bodily waste disposal is ever touched on?

Tue, August 18, 2009 - 4:55 AMWe've seen wardrobes, bedrooms, the cloister (with the cloister bell) and other rooms so while I don't remember a specific mention of the existence of WC's, we can deduce they're out there. -

Sat, August 22, 2009 - 2:21 PMWell, I do recall on Star Trek TNG seeing what appeared to be bathrooms, sinks with mirrors over them...didn't see the toilet though. But hey, we never saw the toilet in the Brady Bunch either, and one can safely assume THEY had one! I mean, come on, 6 kids! LOL!
I always sorta got the feeling the TARDIS gave whatever was needed. I mean, we never see a kitchen or a place to sit either (except for the floor or steps) right?

Fri, August 21, 2009 - 6:52 AMIt was Leela you saw swimming. I believe it was in "The Invasion of Time"-- the same story in which all those pipes are seen. That story had an extended chase through the Tardis, revealing an art gallery as well and even rooms that loop back on themselves. -
